the arched brass dials with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and silent strike, signed 'Thomas Chappell, London', with a twin train fusee movement striking on a bell, the case fine gilt chinoiserie decoration
45cm wide, 220cm high, 23cm deep
Clock is striking and ticking but would benefit from a full overhaul. Strike silent hand lacking but is functioning. Seatboard replaced. Five pillar movement. Case is fundamentally sound and of good overall appearance with interesting scenes, but would've had some restoration a while ago. Brass cased weights and pendulum.
