Fees

1937 Gold proof 4-coin set struck for the Coronation of George VI. The set comprises five pounds, two pounds, sovereign and half sovereign and are presented in original case of issue. Only 5001 sets were struck with many having been broken up over the years. The two pound coin with minor scratch before forehead, the sovereign with spot on cheekbone which has had an attempted removal. All exhibit light hairlines over the busts and all would benefit from some form of conservation to remove haziness in the fields. A "fresh-to-market" set not often offered in it's entirety. Generally UNC, would perhaps edge nearer to FDC without aforementioned issues. [S.PS15]
