A Belgian 6 shot 7mm Comblain self cocking pinfire revolver, c 1865, round barrel with octagonal breech 87mm, Liege proved, the lower barrel unit stamped “COMBLAIN BREVETE”, with folding trigger and plain walnut grips. A lever on the right of the frame swivels forwards and upwards to allow the barrel and cylinder to slide off for loading, the cylinder pin acting as the ejector.
