Victoria (1837-1901), Halfcrowns, 1840, 1844, 1850, young head left with two plain fillets in hair, omitting W.W. on truncation, date below, legend surrounds VICTORIA DEI GRATIA. Rev, crowned quartered shield of arms within wreath, emblems below, reads BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID DEF (S.3887/88). An academic group, the 1840 and 1850 recorded as scarce. Varied condition from about fine to bold fine. (3)
