A LARGE INDIAN "KHANJAR" DAGGER WITH A CARVED ROCK-CRYSTAL HORSE HEAD HILT.
With double-edged steel, a curved dagger with a carved rock crystal hilt, the pommel in the form of a horse head, the mane swept both sides, eyes and harness inlaid in gold wires and coloured glass cabochons, the hilt decorated with stylised floral motifs inlaid with turquoise and gems, the forte with two poly-lobed medallions damascened in gold and decorated with foliage and Arabic inscription “Al Hayy (Allah) bestows life”
