(Camborne) Five scarce works. J. Sims Carah. 'The Parish of Camborne. Some Note on its History, its Antiquities and its People,' two vols, vol I sign and inscribed by the author to title page, printed card wraps, rust to staple bind, spotting to wraps and edge of text blocks, The Camborne Printing & Stationery Co, [c.1925]; 'Camborniana. Stories of Our Parish, Its People, And its Past. With Several Illustrations,' heavy toning and spotting throughout but perfectly readable and crucially intact, printed card boards with later leather back strip stapled, sturdy text block as a result, fair, The Camborne Printing & Stationery Co, 1897; 'Mate's Illustrated Guides. Camborne. Official Guide of the Urban District Council,' printed canvas wraps with some light staining, text block debound, profuse with advertisements and photographs including in mines by J. C. Burrow, later slip, vg, ink owner inscription to first page of text reads 'Lady Smith With J. R...19 Nov 1904, an intriguing and scarce work, no imprint or date (although inscription suggests c.1904); With a spotted short history of Camborne Literary Institution, 1829-1929.
