An early Victorian walnut and silver mounted glass travelling dressing table set, mid 19th century. Fitted interior with silver mounted bottles and jars, a tray with button hooks and manicure items with an internal tray, lower draw and velvet covered hidden compartment containing a table mirror and letter folder. The exterior with brass handles, reinforced edges and decorative bands. Silver mounts mark of Thomas Diller, London 1843. Brass working locks struck Bramah 124 Piccadilly with keys included. The upper catch to the cover incorporated with a sliding mechanism to reveal the compartment with mirror. Some glass bottle tops with chips and one stopper lodged. 6.7 in (17 cm) height, 12.3 in (31.2 cm) width, 9.1 in (23 cm) depth.
Condition report: Some wear with age to the interior and exterior.
