Railway. Heritage Steam, Industrial, Modern traction and Infrastructure. A collection of approx. 210 x 35mm, colour slides, mainly on mixed film stock. The collection is housed in pvc protective wallets. The slides were taken by the late Christopher John Yapp of Leeds in 1971/2/4/5 and appear to be whole films, as such they do include some non-railway subjects-these are not included in the count. We will be selling other slides from the collection in future auctions. Overall quality is O.K. The slides feature a wide variety of transport subjects, including: Industrial steam, Heritage Railways, modern traction, a few London Country buses, stations-open and closed, signal boxes and canals. Locations noted: Verney Junction Station, NCB Bickershaw Colliery, Glossop Station, Monsale Dale viaduct, Hatch End Station, Bressingham Steam Museum, National Railway Museum, Steamtown Carnforth etc. The slides come with a comprehensive caption list, all the slides are numbered to coincide with the captions. Copyright will pass to the buyer. Sample illustrated.
