William Forsyth (1854-1935) was an American Impressionist painter, best known for his landscapes, still lifes, and portraits. His work is characterized by vibrant color, dynamic light, and textured brushwork, often using impasto to give depth to his subjects. Forsyth's subjects ranged from flowers to urban scenes, capturing everyday moments with a modern, expressive approach.
