ADMIRAL SIR CHARLES BULLEN: A SIGNED FREE FRONT ENVELOPE

addressed to John Caton of Woodbastwick, Norwich, dated 1837, 7cm x 14cm; together with a copy of a letter from a seaman on board the Victory, a contemporary copy of James Bagley€™s famous letter to his sister, in which he describes the battle of Trafalgar and the death of Lord Nelson, hand written in ink on paper (2)

Provenance: The signature was purchased privately 24th February 2017. The letter purchased from Stephen Rench, bookseller, April 2023.

Note: The original letter from James Bagley is at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, AGC/B/18.
