A collection of framed mid-20th century theatre posters for the Opera House, Jersey, comprising Boxing Day 26th December to 7th January 1959, The Jersey Green Room Club Golden Jubilee Christmas Pantomime Cinderella, 19¼ x 14¼in. (48.9 x 36.2cm.); 20th July and week, 1942, for a performance of Gerald Savory’s comedy ‘George and Margaret’, 9¾ x 27¼in. (24.8 x 69.2cm.); 21st April and week, 1930, the Jersey Green Room Club performance of ‘A Country Girl’, 29¾ x 9¼in. (75.6 x 23.5cm.); April 24th and week 1944, Performance of ‘Charlie’s Aunt - Enough to make a Cat Laugh’, illustrated with Felix the Cat, 21 x 15in. (53.3 x 38.1cm.); and 17th August and week, 1942, for a performance of ‘Distinguished Gathering’ by James Parish, 27¾ x 9½in. (70.5 x 24.1cm.). (5) - 1959: Time stained with slight fractures in the paper and three pieces of tape at the edges. - July 1942: Time stained and horizontal fold. - 1930: Time stained and multiple folds. - 1944: Numerous creases and time stained. - August 1942: Time stained and four horizontal folds.
