A French gilt brass novelty snuff box, circa 1838 Modelled as the crib of King Louis XIV and inscribed 'Jei Naquit Louis XIV, 5 Septembre 1638, St.Germain-en-Laye', with sprung cover opening to a plain interior, the hood also enclosing a further compartment. 11cm long (two feet missing)
