A late 18th century George III period needlework sampler: the upper section with three stanzas of verse by Thomas Dilworth, Dryden and Isaac Watts; the lower section with a stylised oversized bird perched in a tree flanked by two cherubim, further flanked by flowerpots and flowers above and below; signed 'Mary Felishar Patterretta - her work in the 12 year of her age 1794', further stylised animals and bowls of fruit below the signature.
