A FRENCH IMPERIAL GUARD OFFICER's BUTTON AND PRUSSIAN BADGE FROM A CARTOUCHE BOX. a scarce Imperial Guard Officer's button finely decorated with an eagle beneath a crown, with loop fixing to the reverse, 24mm. And a cast brass Prussian badge with flames coming from the top and sides of an exploding shell with conjoined initials FWR to the centre, with four fixing points to fit through the top flap of a leather cartouche box, 9 x 10cm. Both thought to have been excavated at Waterloo c. 1900. (2). *CR Both in good condition for age with patination and good detail.
