A GWR cabside numberplate, 4022, from a Star Class 4-6-0 built at Swindon in June 1909 and named KING WILLIAM, renamed THE BELGIAN MONARCH in 1927 when the King Class was introduced and simply BELGIAN MONARCH later that year. Its nameplates were removed in May 1940 and it ran nameless until finishing its days at Swindon from where it was withdrawn in February 1952 and cut up at the nearby Works. Cast brass, the front repainted. (Postage Band: N/A)
