A large 19th Century George III walnut and tapestry upholstered throne gainsborough armchair / fireside arm chair. The chair having an arched padded backrest featuring a tapestry scene of a shepherdess surrounded by floral motifs. Carved scrolled walnut arms terminating to carved walnut supports united by a decorative stretcher to the front. Measures approx; 118cm x 70cm x 80cm.
