More Information

Body in good order, no splits, thinning or repair. Small dents peppered throughout, heavy scratching and wear. Spout shows some thinning, splitting and misshaping around the opening of the spout. Some denting, moderate scratching and wear to spout. Cover shows some minor dents, moderate scratching and wear, but no splitting, thinning or repair. Cover is very stiff, but sits flush. The handle is loose around the bottom, and some repair may be required (see pictures). There is evidence of possible solder repair around the bottom of the handle. Knop and handle show moderate scratching and wear, but no large splits, chips or damage. Base shows some denting, general scratching and wear, and some misshaping - as a result the teapot is quite wobbly on a level surface. See pictures for illustration.
