£950
A fine 19th century 18ct gold and micro mosaic pendant by G. & E. Tombini of Rome - the convex, oval pendant centred by an iridescent insect (probably a scarab beetle), within a red, white and blue geometric border, the reverse glazed, three floral teardrop pendants suspended beneath, on a hinged bale with rope twist border, overall drop 67 mm, in the original fitted dark red morocco case.
* Condition: Minor losses from the top of the two outer teardrop pendants - one has a crease to the gold to the top. The main pendant is in good condition, with no losses from the micro mosaic or faults to the gold. There is a small, old crack to the gold solder at the base of the bale, to the back. This does not appear to be significant.
