A 20th Century china tea service to commemorate the Coronation of King Edward VIII on May 12th 1937 which never took place due to abdication. Comprises of teapot, sugar bowl, cream / milk jug and four cups, saucers and plates as well as cake / sandwich plate. Together with lidded preserve pot and two mugs.
