A silver coloured white metal (possibly silver) two compartment hinge lidded box, lid decorated with dotted pattern to edges of box lid, with interesting hallmarks including ‘SS’ a shamrock (or) clubs, a deer with antlers and one further. 16cm x 11cm x 4cm. The vendor advises that the box was purchased in China (probably Shanghai), most likely between WW1 and WW2.
