A LATE 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY CASED BRASS AND BLACK LACQUERED PARALLEL ROLLING RULE, stamped 'R. BAILEY, BIRMINGHAM' overall length of rule 62.7cm, together with a mahogany and boxwood inlaid 36 1/2 inch rule with brass fittings, one stamped 'W & S JONES, Holborn London', overall length 94.5cm (2) (Condition report: the rolling rule case has a damaged piece of wood around the hinge which needs screwing back in place, both hooks are missing to fasten the box closed, the mahogany rule is missing one of the flat head top screws)
