An early 20th century brass-cased, dome-topped singing birdcage automaton; the round suspension loop above a well-cast top disc decorated with scrolls, two singing birds, the higher perched bird with red feathers, the lower with yellow feathers amongst leaves and foliage, the circular base cast with flower heads etc., raised on three short turned brass feet (26cm high) Appears to be in good working order
