A small James I/Charles I oak and inlaid coffer, Yorkshire. circa 1610-30
The hinged top off two deep ovolo-moulded boards, the front of two panels, each ornately foliate-inlaid, within guilloche-carved uprights, and below a leafy-lunette carved top rail, scroll carved and punch-decorated spandrels, twin-panelled sides, 92cm wide, 70cm high, 45cm deep.
