A George III period handwritten cook’s notebook, early 19th century, the vellum bound laid paper book containing Culinary Recipes and Medicinal cures, the recipes to include 'Shrewsbury Cakes', 'Raspberry Vinegar' and 'Blancmange', the cures to include 'Cure For Piles' and 'Cure For The Cholera', with further loose recipes, the cover inscribed 'Theoph. Clements March 8th 1815' [possibly Theophilus Clements, an Irish politician] (at fault)
