A Chinese porcelain figure of Shou Lao, God of Longevity, carrying a sceptre in his right hand, finished with a wash of cream slip, possibly early Ming period, height 27cm, length 9cm, width 5cm Provenance: Late George Eumorfopoulos, Eumorfopoulos Collection Sotheby's Sale, Tuesday 28th May 1940, Lot 118 Mr & Mrs Eumorfopoulos Eumo Collection Cat 236, HM Queen Marie of Yugoslavia. Leonard Gow Collection, Ayrshire, and then by decent to current owners.
