A Chinese silk embroidered robe, 19th century. With gold metal thread, the indigo ground with floral sprays and insects, the white cuffs with flowering vines, butterflies, crabs, beetle and a stylised praying mantis, 108 x 170cm. Please see extra images. Some staining to the ivory coloured cuff bands. Some gilt thread has become unstitched. Some embroidered thread missing or unstitched. Generally good antique condition.
