A George I oak and crossbanded bureau, the fall front opening to a waterfall interior with central well, over a faux drawer and two oak lined drawers, applied with brass back plates and swing handles, upon bracket feet, 98cm H x 90cm W x 56cm D
General marks, stains and light gouges commensurate with age and use, some cleaner/polish deposits to the timber around the brass fittings.
Later blocks added to the underside of the feet, brass handles appear to be later associated (see additional images), two handles are detached (one broken) and a further handle is missing, skiver is also later.
Overall the bureau seems to be in good solid condition with some minor later alterations/repairs.
