1910-13 ½d, composite die proof in black on wove with die number ‘4511’ at upper left, blue crayon cross at centre, printer's reference number erased at upper right (just affecting the design). From the printer's working day book (the so-called ‘dirty’ proofs) and unique thus. The printers prepared two sets of master die proofs. One set, the 'clean' proofs, were kept in the firm's offices.
