1937 50th Anniversary of British Possession, Air issue, stamp size photographic essays with a value of 2d (4) or 3d, three basic designs with differences in wording, two 2d essays with the view of Port Moresby Harbour used in the adopted design, numbered "K1" or "K3" - "K6". All with oval "Commonwealth Bank of Australia / STAMP / PRINTING BRANCH / Fitzroy, N.6. Vict" cachets on reverse with manuscript number (1, 3, 7, 11, 14), initials and date "22/10/37" or "6/9/37" (K1). Tape stains on reverse, otherwise fine, a rare and possibly unique archival group showing some of the unadopted artwork for this issue. (5). Photo on Page 192.
