3rd Dragoon Guards Officer's 1887 Pattern Sword


36 inch, single edged blade with large fuller.  Etched, Kings crown ERVII cypher, Kings crown Prince of Wales 3rd Dragoon Guards plumes and foliage scrolls.  Forte with maker "H Maxwell & Co 161 Piccadilly London W".  Back edge numbered "104862".  Steel, honeysuckle scroll guard.  Steel checkered pommel and back strap.  Shagreen covered grip with twist wire binding.  Contained in its steel scabbard with two loose hanging rings.  Complete with later, gilt cord sword knot.
