AN EARLY 19TH CENTURY MAHOGANY APOTHECARY BOX AND CONTENTS. the rectangular lift top box revealing a partitioned interior containing a variety of stoppered glass bottles, some with paper labels, a frieze drawer with four lidded compartments with period and later items including a bone syringe, Victorian pill bottle, balance scales and medicine spoon, height 19cm, width 32cm, depth 25cm.
Box restored with two inset areas back of the lid and back base, escutcheon and handle later replacements, some replacement bottles, chips and losses, general wear.
