THREE CHINESE PORCELAIN MID-LATE MING DYNASTY BLUE AND WHITE BOWLS. The first painted to the exterior with a band of interlocking foliate scrolls, the interior wtih a flowerhead medallion, below hatched rim, 14.7cm diam., another with honeycomb pattern to the exterior, flowerheads and beaded swags to the interior, 14.2cm diam., the third painted to the exterior with plants, reeds and flowers, the interior similarly decorated, 17.5cm diam. (3)
The bowl with scrolls to exterior - with rim chip beneath glaze issuing hairline crack from rim 5cm long, glaze and firing cracks to foot, minor footrim chipping.
Example with honeycomb pattern - three restored rim chips, some typical and extensive stained glaze crazing overall, minor losses to glaze and cracking to footrim.
The third with extensive scratching and wear to glaze, some chipping to rim and slight losses to glaze.
