Akai Professional S2000 Sampler. Introduced in the late 1990s, it offers 16-bit stereo sampling with a maximum sample rate of 44.1kHz. The S2000 featured a 2U rack design and had eight individual outputs, allowing for flexible routing and mixing options. It has a comprehensive set of editing functions, including time stretching, truncating and looping. The S2000 also supports SCSI connectivity, enabling users to connect external storage devices for sample storage and retrieval.
