An Edward VII Police Coronation Medal 1902, bronze issue, with LCCMFB reverse (London County Council Metropolitan Fire Brigade), named to: Andrew E Clarke.
Andrew Edward Clarke was born on 28/04/1868 at Heybridge (Maldon), Essex. At the time of the 1902 Coronation of King Edward VII he was a fireman stationed at Chelsea Fire Station. He served as a fireman all his working life and the 1939 Register records his profession in retirement as ‘Ex Fireman’. He died at Deptford in
March 1947, aged 78.
