AN AUTOGRAPH ALBUM containing many signatures of well known personalities from showbusiness in the 1930's and 1940's including JUDY GARLAND, LAUREL & HARDY, MAE WEST, DANNY KAYE, ABBOTT & COSTELLO, PAUL ROBESON, ROY RODGERS, CHICO MARX, THE INK SPOTS, CHARLES BOYER AND MARGARET LOCKWOOD, amongst others there is a signed card by E.P.Hillary, there are also a smaller number of later autographs, Paul Shane for example, provenance is provided from the inscription on the opening page of the book which was given to the vendor by her father on her 9th birthday in 1949, the father worked at the Queens Hotel in Birmingham, originally situated on Stephenson St and a popular hotel for the many personalities who toured the Midlands during that era
