Large canvas (122cm long x 84cm high) with 100's of famous faces and 'F.Fellini' (famous director Federico Fellini) sitting in the foreground in his directors chair. The classical background is taken from Raphael's fresco 'The School of Athens' (c.1509-11), in the Apostolic Palace in the Vatican, which encapsulated the pioneering spirit of the Renaissance in the realms of art, architecture, theatre, science and perspective. An allegory may be being made here between the dawn of cinema and the renaissance.
