A circular white metal and enamel box and cover for the Blue Funnel Line TSS ' Anchises', 5.5cm diameter. *Notes- On the 27th February 1941 the Anchises was attacked by a lone Dornier bomber and sustained damage to the plates on the starboard side. Struggling in bad weather the crew abandoned ship as the Royal Navy Corvette HMS 'Kingcup' came to her rescue.
