Most Deare and most entirely beloved Nephew Wee greet yo(u)well. Having resolved (God willing) to get forth too morrow & to (. . .) at our Garrison (. . .) of Malmsbury that night and yo(u) next day to bee at Bristoll. Wee have thought good to give you(u) this particular notice of it. Disiring yo(u) to give order that form of our (. . .) troopes now with yo(u), attend to meet Us on Wednesday-next in (. . .)plan(. . .) Malmsbury & - Bristoll, in regard Wee shaall have news but our (army?)troops and than under Sir William Killgrew to attend us. The Major and corpoartion (?) of Bristoll have (. . ?) of uas as Wee pray you to (. . .)it to bee signified to you Major Shirrife and (. . . ?) that we will not bee (. . . ) by them into that Citty, or admit any of them into our garrison, till having (. . . )our (. . . ) Wee shall give further order.
