Order of St John Serving Sisters breast badge (1st type) female ribbon, in original fitted case. With British Red Cross London / Chelsea Division medal. Plus Joint Women's V.A.D. Department Certificate dated 22/3/21 showing entitlement to BWM & Victory Medal for Miss Elizabeth Agnes Greg. Collectors notes with lot detail her service with the Women's Sick & Wounded Convoy Corps and Red Crescent during the First Balkan War in Bulgaria Nov 1912 to May 1913. Served V.A.D. in France and Belgium between August and Oct 1914, later posted to Russian Red Cross who she served with in Poland, Galicia, Russia & Kurdistan Nov 1914 to Aug 1917. During her time she became trapped in the city of Pyatigorsk during the Russian Revolution treating wounded and dying civilians & soldiers, recounting the horrendous conditions, as well as witnessing the execution of anti-revolutionaries in Oct 1918.
