A 19th century swivel cameo brooch, relief carved shell panel depicting female profile, in unmarked gilt metals wave frame, brooch height 57mm, 32.9g
Cameo has a large crack on the left-hand side along with a smaller hairline crack running from the nose to the base of the neck, high points are slightly rubbed, high points of frame are slightly rubbed and starting to wear through to base metal, brooch hook plate has been replaced and fitting is working, swivel action working, unmarked.
