OTTOMAN - A RARE PERSIAN LETTER BAG (KHARITA) & WAX SEAL. A 19thc silk woven bag with gold coloured thread on a red ground, with attached circular wax seal with Persian or Urdu text. With a translation dating this to 1852, to a R H King. *Condition: Bag, frayed to the top edge of the bag with some loose threads, wax seal generally good. Translation is very fragile.
