A Queen Anne oak joined clothes press, dated 1704, with moulded cavetto cornice, the frieze carved with running foliage and a rosette flanked by the initials RK EK/1704, enclosed by a pair of panelled doors, the iron butterfly hinges original, the lower part with geometric mouldings and two drawers, on stiles 168cm h; 50 x 150cm
Old shrinkage cracks and repair to door panels and sides. Stiles worn almost to ground level, otherwise pleasing and genuine, unmolested example
