An original oil on canvas painting by the artist Jeremy Tyndale N.D.D. Rendered in a post impressionistic style with loose brushstrokes and a contrasting palette of intense purples, blues, yellows and greens. Signed bottom left and housed in a contemporary wooden frame.

Jeremy Tyndale born in Rhodesia in 1930 and studied art in London from 1949 to 1954. He attended the Chelsea Pottery School in 1955 and returned to Rhodesia to teach art and pottery from 1956 to 1970. He relocated to Ireland in 1979, setting up a pottery studio in Strokestown county Roscommon through the auspices of the I.D.A. He has exhibited regularly in the National Gallery and group exhibitions. Work can be found in collections in all five continents.
