A worksplate, PECKETT, 1522, 1918, from a Swansea Harbour Trust Peckett Class E 0-4-0ST built in October 1918, their No 18. When the Trust and their engines were vested in the GWR on 1 July 1923 it became GWR 1098 and was renumbered 1145 in January 1950. Withdrawn from Danygraig in July 1959, it was cut up at Caerphilly Works the same month. Engraved brass, 12"x8½", characters painted red, rear bolts removed. (Postage Band: B)
