Total buyers premium for general auctions will now be 24% inclusive of VAT & online bidding fee. This is made up of in-house premium of 15% rising to 17%. Online bidding fee is 3%. Then VAT @ 20% means a total of 24%. This means a hammer price of £10 that previously would be £12.16 will now be £12.40.
This sale ends on Sunday 29th January from 4pm. Please ensure any enquiries you have regarding the sale, or items in the sale, are received by our office no later than 3.30pm Sunday.
At the close of the sale you will be emailed an invoice (around 8pm Sunday) complete with online payment portal for card payments and bank details for bank transfers. This also lists details on collection.
Collection days: Monday 30th Jan. to Saturday 4th Feb. Please let us know if you cannot collect in this timeframe. We are still operating a collection appointment system for those who wish to take advantage of it. Successful bidders will be emailed their invoice at the close of the sale, which will include an online booking service. It's not totally necessary to book an appointment, but customers with an appointment for collection will have all their goods collected and ready for their chosen time, and be given priority by the porters for loading their goods.
Electronic & petrol powered goods are sold in working order. Unless otherwise stated (marked AF). Where possible, they have been safety tested, as well as shown in working order in the photos. If you buy something shown in working order, but find it does not work, you have 48hrs to return this item for a full refund.
In-house postage is available as normal on all lots with the exception of GLASSWARE, CERAMICS, LIQUIDS, LIGHTERS, BLADED ITEMS, FRAMED PICTURES & FURNITURE. We are able to accommodate customers booking their own courier for these types of items, and also recommend Postit4me (https://postit4me.com/) for a complete managed collection for these types of items, that includes insurance.
General refund policy: Please note, that goods are sold as seen. Please ensure you inspect goods to your satisfaction before bidding. This can be done in person, via proxy, or by the condition report feature. However, where goods turn out to be defective, non-working or not as described, you will find us approachable & friendly to deal with. We would rather you raise any major issues you find with a lot, and let us know. Please inspect goods as soon as possible, and not wait a month before telling us something is not working!
Once placed, bids cannot be cancelled. If you have changed your mind about an item on which you are bidding, we recommend clicking 'Edit Bid' and changing this to current leading bid amount or the lowest figure permissible. Hopefully you will be outbid. If not, we can always re-enter this into auction for you, but please let us know if this happens!
