A FINE 18TH CENTURY 8 DAY MOONPHASE LONGCASE : Date Circa 1780
A fine late George III period 8-day silvered dial brass spandrels longcase clock with sun and moon phase, with two subsidiary dials. The mahogany case has a swan-neck top, full length highly figured flame mahogany door, four turned fluted Corinthian columns standing on four ogee bracket feet. The movement with striking Westminster bells has been refurbished and serviced in the last 10 years by Honiton Clock Clinic , working but no guarantees implied or given with two winders and three weights. 220 cms x 50 cms
