A GILT BRONZE PLAQUE, 16TH/17TH CENTURY DEPICTING THE MEETING OF SOLOMON AND THE QUEEN OF SHEBA together with a letter dated 1997 from the British Museum giving suggested details for the plaque.
20.5 x 15.5 cms
Gilt finish overall very good and even. Slightly blackened area to top right corner in the folds of the fabric and small casting hole to one fold, small holes top left and right for fixing, three dots on bottom edge, not holed. Small casting fracture on top edge, reverse, 95% dark patination with some blotching.
