Fronting a substantial eight day engraved and signed movement, having a verge escapement and striking the hours on a single bell and playing two tunes of 9 bells with 12 hammers, controlled by two subsidiary dials for strike/silent and tune selector. The Mahogany case with inverted bell top and flower bud finials above caryatid corners and a stepped plinth base with scrolled leaf work feet 73cm high.
