WW1 medal range with 1. 1914-15 Star to 2688 Pte J.H. Waldock C. of Lond Yeo. James Hyde Waldock was killed in action with 21st Sqn MGC (Cav) (No 110722) on 28th November 1917 and with no known grave is commemorated on the Jerusalem Memorial. With copied CWGC, Soldiers Died and MIC, numbers confirmed.
2. Victory Medal to Lieut G.S. Roche, suspender barrel re-attached, otherwise fine. Thought to be Gilbert Stapleton Roche who served with Cheshire Regt and in 1921 applied for US Citizenship to pursue an acting career in Hollywood. With copied research.
3. Victory Medal to J.87750 E.J. Butcher Boy 1 R.N. with verdigris fair/fine. With boxed Royal Tournament silver medal engraved 1928 Inter-Port Field Gun Competition First Individual Crew H.M.S. Pembroke "B" A.B. E. Butcher. With copied service paper.
4. BWM to Lieut A.A. Bisset good very fine. With qty of research, Alexander Andrew Bisset was commissioned in RAMC as a Doctor, landed France 20/5/17, transferred commission to RAF Medical Branch 12/4/18, promoted Maj 2/10/18, unemployed list 1/3/19. RAF service papers and Flight magazine record him mentioned in dispatches for valuable services 29/8/19 (This appears to be a "B" Mention as not mentioned on MIC).
5. BWM re-named in official looking style to Lt Col J.L. Birley R.A.F. very fine. With folder of copied research, James Leatham Birley was commissioned in RAMC 7/8/16, promoted T/Maj while on special duty 29/12/16, MID 11/12/17, transferred to RAF Medical Branch as Lt Col 1/10/18.
6. BWM and Victory Medal to S-6430 Pte T.G. Bailey Rif Brig extremely fine, with cap badge. Thomas George Bailey was killed in action with 1st Bn on 8th August 1916 and is buried in Essex Farm Cemetery. With copied CWGC, Soldiers Died and MIC, missing a Star.
7. Victory Medal to 52565 Dvr A. Miles R.E. fine. With copied service papers etc, served with 92nd Fd Coy.
8. Victory Medal to 57863 Pte 1 D. Aherin R.A.F. nearly extremely fine. With copied RAF service papers.
9. Silver War Badge No 13646 issued to 4088 LCpl H.B. Hart 6th N Staffs, discharged due to sickness 24/8/16. (½B)
