Barasaurus is an extinct genus of procolophonoid para-reptile from the Permian. Preserved in a limestone nodule with fantastic bone detail and dark patches of skin around the abdomen.
Gastroliths present in stomach, stones consumed by the Barasaurus during its life to aid diving to greater depth. See cluster to right hand side of stomach.
UK private collection since the late 1960’s.
